A New Look? [part 1: the hunt begins ]

Ok, so this new look of the blog is by no means a permanent replacement. The matter of fact remains that the beautiful banner that I created for this blog has specific dimensions that will not fit most "standard" blogger templates. I am actually looking for a new theme, instead of a template, but as of now, my options are pretty slim. I have been trying, without much success, to find something worth keeping and then, and only then, will I go back to the drawing board for a new banner that will really take our blog to the next level. My number one requirement, even above aesthetics, is usability. I hate having to search for things while I'm on someones blog, including my own, and I'm sure it will make the whole experience more enjoyable. This in-turn increases traffic and who knows, I might have something worth a page one search result on google. If you have any ideas of websites for me to check out for some free themes, let me know.
