Knott's Berry Farm

The third weekend in February we visited our third theme park: Knott's Berry Farm. Unfortunately, three of the top rides - Ghostrider (all wooden rollercoaster), Xcelerator (tallest and fastest in the park), and the Silver Bullet (nothing to write home about) were shut down for various reasons. We had a great day regardless.

Cheryl's mom, Susie, and sister, Marcie, flew down to visit us for a couple days. By the third round of theme parks, I was starting to fizzle out. Fortunately, Cheryl's sister was there to take my spot on the roller coasters - fine with me.

You will never get me on this ride. period.

I got some great photos of Cheryl and Marcie riding the Boomerang and the Supreme Scream. Nothing phases these girls.

Marcie with the fist pump and Cheryl attempting Star Trek's Vulcan Salute.

Marcie and I had a blast riding bumper cars. I spent the entire time running from her while she laughed and chased me.

A roller coaster with a two hundred and fifteen foot drop, loop-de-loop, and corkscrew turns is rated a 5 for ride intensity. Bumper cars gets a a High Thrill Attraction rating of 4. Are you serious?!

Last shot of the evening before heading home.

What a crazy month. I'm craving a churro.
