The Twins Birthday and Tayden's too!

I can't believe it's been two years since the twins were born.  It just seemed like yesterday when we were in Oregon, quietly gazing at their tiny little fingers and toes and marveling at the miracle of life.  Now, they running around, playing, screaming and laughing.  Marcie is my Hero.  Since Tayden's birthday was right around the corner, we all wanted to take advantage of the whole family being here and celebrated Tayden's birthday as well.  Anyway, Cheryl wanted to do something special for their birthdays and since the boys were really into Mickey Mouse and the rest of the Disney gang, it made for an easy birthday theme.  So, in her normal fashion:  Cheryl went ALL in.
Note:  ALL of the the decoration and desserts were handmade by Cheryl (with the exception of the Mickey Mouse Pinata - Props to Alethea for that handy work)!

Now this is what I call a Pinata!

Now that Annabel is getting older, Alise is having a blast playing with her.

The cousins just hanging out the morning of the party.

Here are the birthday hats, custom made for each kids.
I think they turned out great!

Such a great shot with Aunt Jan and Brooklyn.  Look at those beautiful eyes.

Some of the the fun desserts.
Mickey Mouse rice crispy treats dipped in Chocolate with sprinkles.

The birthday banner.

The cupcake tower.

The utensils are wrapped in... you guessed it Mickey Mouse :)

I love the cupcake paper made to look like Mickeys pants (complete with buttons).
The Mickey head is made of Oreo and Oreo minis. Pretty creative.

And, after sugar... the kids go WILD!

So, Marcie has challenged me (unofficially) to correctly identify her sons... Challenge Accepted!

Reed and Tayden, best of buds!

Davis is focused on filings his jug with sand while Reed just enjoys playing with it.

Laynee, Alise, and Tayden.
Tayden decided he wanted Pluto Ears on his hat since his color was Orange, like Pluto.
Cheryl delivered.

Davis took the first whack at Mickey.

Reed was up next with a little help from Uncle Travis.

No we're getting serious.

Birthday Boy

Davis loves the radio flyer, even if he's on grass.

Laynee dealt the final blow, much to the horror of Alise.

The destruction of mickey wasn't too traumatizing
considering the kids went nuts for the candy.

Perhaps it was traumatizing?!

Davis is taking count of the spoils.

Davis decided to start with Mickey first.

Tayden seems to be enjoying his birthday cupcake.

Reed is now thinking like Davis, Oreo cookie first.

Now that's a birthday present - A Monster Truck!

Tom could hear everything that was being said - and he was sitting outside!

Good friends Jen and Cheryl with their daughters.

Brooklyn and Annabel were hanging out.

Grandpa took Davis out for a special ride on the swing.

Grandma with her girls.

All ready for bed - what a long day for the Birthday boys.
Did everyone have a blast?!

You Betcha!
Happy Birthday to Davis, Reed, and Tayden.  We love you boys.
