June Round-Up

June has been quite a month.  I will admit, with Annabel, every month is special in it's own right - however, as she grows up, so does her personality and character.  We love to see her smile and find ourselves, Cheryl and I, doing everything we can - even if it means looking like complete fools - to get Annabel to show us that one of a kind smile.  One of the best investments we made was getting a year long photo package that allows us one free 8x10 photo of Annabel every month for a year.  Looking back over the past 8 months, it's incredible to see just how different she looks now and how much more of a little girl she has become.  This month has been another example of firsts in Annabel's life and we're just along for the ride.

Annabel has been getting better at crawling/ pulling herself up onto things and we now find
her in the most peculiar of places.
Note:  We did NOT place her here.  This is how Cheryl found her when she turned around.

Annabel has been sitting up more often and I believe the time for the
whale tub in the kitchen sink is quickly coming to an end.

As the temperature in Fresno has been heating up, weeks on end of 100+ degree temperature, we have been finding more and more reasons (other than PG&E) to get in the pool to cool off.  We "warmed" Annabel up to the idea of a larger amount of water by putting her in her kiddie pool.  She had a blast just playing and splashing to her hearts content.

On Father's day the temperature really got to us so we all jumped in the pool and Annabel loved it.  At first she was a little scared but clung on to us for dear life.  The more time we spent in the pool, the more comfortable she got.  I think its time for us to get her a pool floatie.

An Afternoon Nap with Daddy.

The memorable father's day gift and card that was waiting for me on my bedside table .
Not pictured:  The pack of whoppers which I quickly ate.
Family walks: A great way to start the day.
Speaking of walking, look who took her first steps... :)
