Cheryl and I get into town the night before T-Day and I get to bed early, or at least try to, in order to conserve energy for the following day. We help out with food preparation and all that good stuff until the door-bell rings. That's when the chaos begins. Somewhere in the midst of all the hugging and laughing, a 25lb turkey is finishing it's 6 hour marathon. Even with FAR too many cooks in the kitchen, everything miraculously comes together.
And for these few moments, everyone can sit and enjoy a delicious meal together.
Nothing like a little Wii baseball to fight off that coma inducing tryptophan.
The only thing better than a family that eats together, is a family that looks through Black Friday Ads together.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY!
