Our good friends Kenji and Liane asked us if we wanted to have a fun filled day in an amusement park riding roller coasters and eating unhealthy food. We said yes. For some reason, churros just taste better when you pay 4 dollars for them. Am I right?
Right out of the gate, Kenji led us all to The X2 super coaster ride. It was the newest at the park and he had heard that it was the most thrilling ride yet. Nearly 2 1/2 hours of waiting in line, only made bearable by the wonderful company we were with, and we were finally strapping ourselves into ride of our lives. I only say that because the next 90 seconds were enough to make you appreciate the rest of your life.
All in all, a little nausea mixed with some funnel cakes turned out to be a great day indeed. Thanks guys for the invite. Well have to do it again... but give me a couple months first - ok?
