Christmas at the Grove: 2009 Edition

My dad was in town for a continuing education course at USC. Making due with the little time we had, we headed to the Grove for some holiday festivities - apparently that included licking a giant lolipop on the side of the Christmas cottage. Nice Cheryl, real nice.

The Christmas decorations were stunning of course, and no detail was overlooked.

This was a BIG tree and completely real. It's just my opinion, but at the end of the season, I would just throw the whole thing away, lights and all, to save on the labor of removing every light, ornament, and bow.

The 100 ft Christmas tree was the center of attention and was absolutely incredible. The only way things could have been better is if it somehow began to snow... Oh wait, it did. At precisely 8 pm.

Christmas time is here!
