the Lab Gastropub

So it's now been over 100 posts of Southern California highlights: The places Cheryl and I have been, the things we've experienced - the good, bad, and ugly. The one thing that you will notice always stays consistent is the company. No matter where I go and what I do, the experience is never the same without Cheryl by my side. And so, here is a simple post of another thing which we have come to love and of course, enjoy together - The Lab Gastropub. The concept of a Gastropub was started in 1991 in London when a couple of guys acquired an old pub and concentrated on the quality of the food and not just the drink. Thus, a beautiful blending of something I enjoy, a nice cold beer, with something Cheryl enjoys, delicious food, in a non-threatening hip environment. The fact that some of the beers are served in "Laboratory" beakers is just the icing on the cake.

16 oz. of frosty yellowtail ale in the California sun.

Cheryl even found herself a drink, the Woodchuck Raspberry Cider. It's delicious.

This is the "gastro" portion of gastropub. Incredible! Don't get me started on those irresistible sweet potato fries.

So much fun! I love you sweetheart.
