Homecoming: The End of the Beginning

I say the end of the beginning because, although our time at USC is quickly coming to an end, Cheryl and I have become die hard Trojan Fans.  We have been through it all:  The incredible seasons of 2007-08, and 2008-09 that led to Rose Bowl Championships, and the dismal season that have ended with us defeated, albeit ineligible, for a championship.  Cheryl and I have witnessed, firsthand, the injustice that is directed at our team simply because people have a sick desire to see a championship team fail.  We watched in disgust at the tactless spectacle of Stanford's halftime show at the Coliseum, further solidifying our resolve that we would rather be a losing team that retains our virtues of sportsmanship and camaraderie, than a winning team without an ounce of class.  It was a great three seasons of home games and I look forward to many more Saturday afternoons on the couch, or perhaps in the Coliseum, of cheering on out mighty Trojans.  Fight On!

In all fairness, if I had to choose another Pac-10 team root for, it would be the Oregon Ducks.  They've got a pretty talented group of guys and it was an honor getting spanked by them on national television.
