One last Haunt in SoCal

Lets face it, Halloween tends to lose it's appeal the older you get.  You have to stay up late, do alot of walking around in an attempt to fill your bucket full of candy, and dress and act like someone that is half your age... wait a minute, that sounds like a blast!  As usual, Cheryl and I decided that a Halloween night spent as far from LA would probably be the right thing to do, so we called up my Aunt and asked if we could join them in Moorpark for the weekend.  All that was left was for me was to decide on a costume.  Unfortunately, attempting to go trick-or-treating as a 27 year old in a spiderman costume is not only inappropriate, but lame.  So, whatever I would decide on would need to be custom.  With a little researh (TV watching) and some costume design, I put together a real winner.  I give you - Windy Man!
Windy Man and his trick-or-treat buddy Xena the Warrior Princess.
After we gave our costumes a dry run for some pictures in the daylight, we went back in and got elbows deep in some gourds.  Pumpkin carving :)

For a girl who has a hard time with the consistency of bananas, she certainly had no trouble gutting a pumpkin.

The finished priduct!
We got all of our things together and prepared for a fun night out.  Alex had still not decided what he was going to dress up as, so I got my creativity juices flowing and came up with something unique.  See what an old soccer jersey, some gym shorts, knee high socks, and a broom handle can do for you.

Alex was loving the Foosball player outfit.
Cheryl decided to stay in and hang out with Uncle Robert, Aunt Zepure and ... Snickers the hamster.

I dont know whos cuter, Cheryl or Snickers!
Happy Haloween all you Guys and Ghouls!
