Reed and Davis' 1st Birthday!

I can't believe that our twin nephews, Reed and Davis, have already turned 1.  We are so thankful for the health of these two handsome boys and have enjoyed the smiles and surprises they have brought us over the last year.

Although Christopher wasn't able to make it up to Red Bluff for the party (due to his sister graduating dental school in New York) I was able to make the trek up by myself.  I'm glad that I could not only be there to celebrate the boys, but also to help my sister with the decorations, food and organizing of the day. Even though it threatened rain, the clouds stayed dry for us.  The wind picked up at times, but we didn't mind since the other option could have been heat.  It was a wonderful day and a joy to celebrate Reed and Davis' first year of life!

Marcie asked me to make the cupcakes and so I knew
I had to make them extra special.
I cut out each wrapper by hand and then decided to make matching 1's.

Gold fish, M&M's and balloons.  Looks like a party to me.
 Happy Birthday Reed and Davis!

All set and ready for the guests to arrive.

Lunch is served.

 Yum!

The Swain Family

Almost ready to dig in.
Reed was a bit tired, but he sure tore up that cupcake!

Davis being a little flirt.  The crumbs make him even more irresistible.
Hopefully Uncle Chris will be able to join us next year when we celebrate these cuties turning 2.
