So it's been one month since Annabel was born. As we prepare for some road trips to introduce her to the rest of the family, we (both Cheryl and I) find ourselves staring at her and just watching in wonder at the great blessing God has put it our life. What has amazed us the most about this past month is just how active and alert she has been. Annabel has been cooing and gurgling at her animal friends, she has been focusing on our faces and turns her head when she sees me come around the corner, and she has been melting mommy's and daddy's heart with every bashful glance and precious smile. She's growing up so fast! Just as soon as I start to like a certain outfit or cozy, comfy, sleeper - BAM, she's bustin' at the seams: Lengthwise, not girth ;) To illustrate the point, Cheryl and I received a very cute stuffed animal Giraffe for us to lay her on. With Grandma Susie's help, we named him Geronimo the Giraffe - why you needed to know that, I have no clue? Anyway, we have started placing her on the stuffed animal and taking pictures of her so that we have a point of reference to see how big she is growing. We also took a couple of photos of her and made them into a birth announcement to send to family and friends.
Since Annabel did so well in her private photo shoot at home, we thought it would be a good time to get some family photos taken. Cheryl had booked us an appt at Kiddie Candid (inside Babies R' Us) and her are the results. We love the family photo!
