March Roundup

Another month has come and gone.  With it brought many wonderful moments in our families, some of which were captured on "film".  Unfortunately, Annabel got sick twice, but both times she was a trooper and put on a happy face, even if that face was covered with boogers :)  We attribute the second bout of sniffles and crankiness to the fact that she cut her first tooth!  Needless to say, I being the resident dentist was ecstatic and quickly identified it as tooth #p.  Another big milestone is that Annabel has been sitting up on her own.  That made it especially fun when we had her monthly photos taken.

As she has been getting stronger, she has been moving around the floor a little better.  While playing with her, I would grab her arms and lift her while she simultaneously locked her knees, causing her to stand up.  She though this was the greatest thing ever.  So, I propped her up against a wall and watched her shift and flail her arms to keep her balance.  What I thought would be just a few moments turned out to be a few minutes of standing, giving me time to grab my camera and take a couple pictures of out big girl.

Her she is doing the Sprinkler.  There you go Annabel, water that lawn.

If she had such leg strength, why stop there.  I ran into the back room and grabbed her jumper.  After a few minutes of swinging around, she quickly caught on and started balancing herself in the jumper.  So much FUN!

She has also started sitting up in the shopping cart, which has made our lives a little easier since we don't have to carry her car seat into stores or use the Bjorn.  Thanks to Cheryl's good friend Jen, who made this cute shopping cart cover, Annabel can look around and have fun, without us having to sanitize the entire cart.

Although its only been a few weeks, Annabel has changed so much and we are so proud of her.  I can now see how easily a parents life can be completely consumed by the events in their children's lives.
