I'll be the first to admit it, I'm horrible at keeping secrets. Don't believe me? Ask Cheryl. It wouldn't be so bad if she didn't like surprises so much. Well, I was just perusing about the internet a couple days ago and a banner advertisment caught my eye. "LAST MINUTE DEALS ON CONCERT TICKETS - COLBIE CAILLAT" Cheryl and I had just recently got into this particular artist for her fresh sounding beach -style music. If that makes any sense. Needless to say, I clicked and e-purchased. Birthday surprise for Cheryl - check. The only problem was that her birthday wasn't for another couple days - could I make it? Please refer to line one. We made the rather quick (~ 25 min) trip down to Anaheim, got a delicious dinner at Outback Steakhouse, and got to the venue with enough time to nearly freeze to death. It worked out in the end because the concert was arranged with an open floor plan, AKA - the earlier you arrive, the closer to the front you get to stand.

Cheryl and I had a great time and although we weren't very impressed with her stage presence, we loved the music. Happy Birthday Babe.
