Cheryl and I decided to see what Santa Monica had to offer (other than the boardwalk) in terms of free entertainment - hey, I'm a student living off loans, ok? A quick google brought up the 3rd street Promonade and off we went. We were quite taken aback by the mass amount of people, including street performers and homeless, roaming the streets. Although the stroll and window-shopping seemed promising, we were dissappointed with the overall "feel". Perhaps another time.
Breakdancing is still pretty cool.
