Although the menu was a bit pricey, thanks to Cheryl's $50 dollar Verizon mail-in rebate, we were able to really explore and try new things. I am personally guilty of letting the price of food dictate what I eat. I understand that most of us are on a budget and can't afford to spend 25 dollars on an entree, but isn't that what eating out is suppose to be... fun, new, and exciting. If anything, I should get upset at paying $10 for a burger I can make at home. The whole experience, including the ambiance and food, was fantastic.
Cheryl and I watched the sunset as we enjoyed our meal and each other's company.
I had the Parmesan and Herb encrusted Opah with the garlic sweet potato fries. Amazing! When in Rome...
Cheryl was adventurous and ordered the Mango BBQ Ribs with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled pineapple. it was messy, but delicious.
To finish it all off, we both shared a Pineapple Upside Down Cake with Macadamia Nut ice cream and Dulce De Leche drizzled on top. What a great Hawaiian dessert.
If going out to dinner has become more of a convenience than an experience, stop it. There is more to this world than chicken strips and french fries dipped in ranch, not that there is anything wrong with that. Give your taste buds a run for your money, they'll thank me later.

Chris and I LOVED visiting Dukes on our trip to Malibu! The food was great, but more importantly, the waiter thought I was 20. God bless him.
You are obviously not from SoCal, because they say just plain 'ol "PCH", not "the PCH". Ha!!! I enjoyed all your new blog posts!
