Last year, as you may recall, we headed to Moorpark and had a fantastic time with the cousins in a real pumpkin patch. This year we wanted to put ourselves in the shoes of a true city dwellers. A converted parking lot, a grocery store, or even curbside pick-up - we didn't know what LA had in store for us. Enter Mr. Bones pumpkin patch. A local hotspot of sorts that frequently attracts celebrities and their children located in the heart of Beverly hills...why not?
The decorations were wonderfully colorful and unique.
What a cute costume. He looked up at the precise moment I took the shot.
I think we found our pumpkin.
Look out Cheryl! A giant paper mache Frankenstein is after you!
We had enough daylight to squeeze in a quick trot around the patch.
Here is my favorite thing about the pumpkin patch: The clever signs!
Let's start off with an easy one. "No playing hot-potato with the pumpkins"
"No hacky-sacking the pumpkins"
"No ignoring your child with a pumpkin"
"No hail-marying the pumpkins"
"No using the pumpkins as a soapbox"
"No pumpkin euphoria"
and lastly, "No diving into a pile of pumpkins like the ball pit at Chuck E. Cheeses".
Happy Halloween Everybody!
