Medieval Times

Hazaa!! Cheryl and I were kindly invited to join my parents during their quick trip to LA. They were in town for an Armenian convention and were able to get us some tickets to the dinner and show. It was Cheryl's first time to Medieval Times and I wanted to make sure that she enjoyed herself.

So, I bought her an overpriced fruity drink and emerged ourselves in the 11th century ambiance.

We were assigned to the Black and White knight and cheered as his procession entered the arena. As we soon found out, the black and white knight was a priest warrior, and if he spent more time practicing his fighting skills and less time praying, he might have lasted longer than one round. Boooo!

Regardless of the outcome, we had a blast and got to spend some time with the family. The night was finished with me talking my father out of buying a $450 dollar sword and shield, although I thought it would look awesome in the game room.

Tayden and I like swords... Shields are pretty cool too.

Looks like fun. One of these days I'll make it to Medieval Times.
