Our Last 4th in SoCal

The time has come where we have entered into the last year of living here in Southern California (God Willing). Although we are excited that this chapter in our lives is rapidly coming to an end, we have begun taking our holidays and special events to the next level for the sake of memories. Since this was to be our last 4th of July in Los Angeles, what better way to celebrate the birthday of our great country than to get tickets to the famous Hollywood Bowl Fourth of July Extgravaganza.

Cheryl was the hero for snagging these perfect seats a few months ago. We came early, as most people did, with a picnic dinner. After enjoying some good food and some people watching, we got ready for the show.

Another fun event with my best friend.

JP and Jacque were able to snag some last minute tickets when we told them of our 4th of July plans at the Hollywood Bowl. We hung out at intermission and they shared their wine with us, how thoughtful.

It was an amazing performance by the Los Angeles Philharmonic and special guest Vince Gill. The show was extra special for Cheryl since it brought back fond memories of her grandmother and how they both would listen to his music together. The finale was spectacular and both Cheryl and I agree that it was one of the greatest 4th of July shows we have ever experienced.

God Bless America!
