Since you've been gone.

Easter weekend came and went. Although I tried to stay in the grateful mindset, seeing as it is the holiday celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, it seemed terribly dull. Some friends from NorCal were visiting and by the time Sunday rolled around, all I wanted was a nap.

**CELEBRITY SIGHTING**

We saw James Woods (Shark) in the Barnes and Noble at The Grove. He looks older in person.

We got some sun playing Frisbee and laying out at the beach, and hung out with friends at the Laugh Factory watching standup comedy by K-von (one of my groupmates older brother), Aries Spears, and Jamie Kennedy. We would have left 5 minutes into the first routine if not for K-von’s top notch humor. The only thing I remember from the other comics was the plethora of vulgar, racist, and half-baked jokes that would make even the saltiest of sailors go green around the gills. Let’s just say the only thing worth laughing at was the fools they were making of themselves. Moving on to the weekday. By the goodness and graciousness of God, our prayers were answered and Cheryl was offered a job in the clinical affairs department of the Dental School. – queue the halleluiah chorus – after nearly seven months of applying, praying , waiting, and waiting some more, the “perfect” job finally arrived. I place perfect in quotes because for our current situation, it’s perfect. However, I will never forget nor attempt to downplay the sacrifice Cheryl is making for our future. This is by no means her “dream job” and I’m sure she could have found another occupation which would have appealed to her better nature, specifically baking. It’s true, with this USC job Cheryl reduces my tuition by nearly $60,000 dollars, saves us from buying another vehicle, brings in a respectable income, and will be taught invaluable business and patient management skills for use later on in the start up of my future dental practice. I am truly blessed and can’t begin to thank her for everything she has done and will do for our future. Looking back over the past few months and years of our marriage, it’s all but obvious that God had us in the palm of His hand the whole time, paving the way for our wonderful life together. Praise be to Him. Amen.

Chris I love you so much and I appreciate all YOU do for me and our future. I'd walk a million miles for you if I had to (and you know how much I hate exercise) XOXO

I know that Christ lives and the Book of Mormon is another testament of Him. I know that Joseph Smith saw God and Jesus Christ and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is Gods true church on the earth.

This is a message to all those who might be reading this, especially you JR. I appreciate the energy that you put forth to find my blog and comment, however, I am saddened by your theology. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is NOT God's true church, but just another fruitless attempt by Satan to mislead the feeble minds of men. I am not one of those feeble minds. There is NO other book except the Holy Bible. Rev 22:18 “I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.” Joseph Smith was a false prophet and leader of a cultic movement which was started with little more than fabricated fact and incorrect/unanswered prophecy. Matthew 7:15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them.” Jr, if you truly believe that Jesus Christ lives, then you CANNOT deny that He is the one and ONLY Son of God, sent to earth as 100% man and 100% God as a holy sacrifice for the sins of man. Through His death AND resurrection we are sanctified. Jesus fulfilled EVERY prophecy in the Old Testament, of which your "church" professes to believe. If you have any further questions my friend, please contact me. Luke 21:15
