This past weekend the DDS class of 2011 had a BBQ party down in Huntington Beach. It was Cheryl's and my first time down there, but instead of throwing it under the Exploring SoCal series, we felt it could stand on its own. Through some creative fundraising, ASB buying our sophomore issue @ wholesale and selling it to us for retail (hey, we'd be paying retail anyway), we had some extra dough to blow on an all out BBQ. Fine with me. The weather was postcard perfect, as you can tell, and Cheryl had her first REAL experience swimming in the ocean. Firsbee, football, volleyball, even Bocce ball - nothing was left out.
At the end of the day I might have gotten a shade or two darker, but jeez D Fish (Daniel Fisher), ever heard of sunscreen! Looks like the 5 am gym routine just might be paying off. The same goes for Cheryl, but she somehow evaded the camera.
